Suitable for discharging dry dust, powder, granules and fibrous materials from cyclones, filters, hopper etc., whilst still maintaining an effective gas seal.
The Valve consists of two flaps connected by counterweight or spring loaded spindles, which are operated by means of motor driven cam or pneumatic cylinder.
The cam alternatively opens each flap allowing material to pass through the separate chambers in batch form and thereby ensuring a gas seal. Flap Valve can also be installed in Tandem for very high differential pressure. The body of the Valve can be made of cast OR heavy plate construction with single or double flap machined tore ground close tolerance for proper sealing between the Flap and body. Full throat opening eliminates bridging, jamming and material build up. Seat and flapper can be several times to bring them back to original condition and performance.
